Acolytes and Crucifers

If you've ever attended St. Stephen's, you've undoubtedly noticed the red and white robed servers assisting throughout the service. Crucifers (white robes) and acolytes (red robes) enhance the worship service by carrying in the cross, assisting the priest during the Eucharist, and assisting the ushers during the offering. These server roles are generally filled by the young adults of the parish, although at St. Stephen's, we are blessed to have several wonderful adult servers.  Training is held once a year.   For more information or to become a volunteer, please contact Georges Zemanek (gzemanek1@yahoo.com) or the church office at 713-528-6665.
