Havens Center
Carissa Baldwin serves as the director of this program. Her primary focus is on the after-school program, but also includes other activities that take place in the building. We are in need of a committee to help with fundraising and programs. Susan Hawes has headed up the auction efforts with the help of a supporting committee.

Christian Community Service Center
Peg Nevers is the Church Representative for St. Stephen's on the Council. CCSC provides many services to many people. The efforts best known at St. Stephen's are the Jingle Bell Express and the Back to School drives. We also collect food for their food bank and needed clothing. CCSC also runs the Sunshine Resale Shop in the Bellaire Triangle.

Interfaith Ministries
Gary Patterson is the Church Representative from St. Stephen's for this program. Interfaith Ministries (IM) brings people of diverse faith traditions together for dialogue, collaboration and service creating a community of faith working and acting together in response to the Divine call to create a more just, compassionate, and caring society. Meals on Wheels is one of the programs sponsored by this organization and was an important outreach during this last hurricane.

Lord of the Streets
Joel McGlassen represents St. Stephen's on the board. The program for the homeless has many facets and includes a service every Sunday at Trinity Episcopal Church followed by a breakfast, which is cooked and served by volunteers from an assortment of churches and organizations. Currently St. Stephen's involvement includes serving breakfast, collecting personal hygiene items, and needed clothing throughout the year.

Neartown Little League
St. Stephen's sponsors a little league team. Gail Baxter and David Knoll are actively involved with this effort. A number of the players in the league attend St. Stephen's church.

Senior's Place
Mike Robson and Carolyn Warren represent St. Stephen's on the board. The program consists of a day care center for seniors with mild to moderate memory loss and operates out of a building on Joanel Street (near Edloe & Westheimer). They have plans for a new building, which is 1/2 to 2/3 funded, and are looking for individuals and institutions to contribute to their capital campaign.
