Fellowship

Fellowship nurtures and sustains our church family.  At St. Stephen's we offer a variety of  activities to enrich our life together and envelop new and current members in the faith, fun and followship that makes St. Stephen's a warm, welcoming church.

Pastoral Care

The vision and mission of Pastoral Care at St. Stephen's is to celebrate life's joys and bear one another's burdens and sorrows in fulfillment of God's command to love one another as God loves us. We seek to connect parishioners within the St. Stephen's community to provide a network of care in times of need.

Mission and Outreach

The Mission and Outreach Committee generates opportunities for the St. Stephen's Community to serve locally, regionally  and globally. The committee meets the first Sunday of each month after the late service.  All are invited to attend the meetings.  More importantly, all are invited to participate in our outreach/community justice programs.

Building and Grounds

The Building and Grounds Committee supports the Vestry with regards to St. Stephen's building and grounds, particularly ensuring that the buildings and grounds are kept in good repair, developing a vision for the campus in the future, maintaining a database of the assets, leading parish workdays, and preparing annual and capital improvement budgets.  Each year, we have two or more parish...

Volunteer Leadership Committee

The Volunteer Leadership Committee supports St. Stephen's ministries by identifying, recruiting, job descriptions, develop appropriate volunteer training volunteers and assist with training as appropriate; coordinate the volunteer database and ongoing communications with St. Stephen's ministries.   Among other things, we organize the annual ministries fair.

Worship

We welcome everyone to worship at St. Stephen's.  We offer a variety of ways to worship such as our Sunday services which include traditional, contemporary and even innovation-based services.  We also have a Children's Chapel that is scheduled during some of our other services.  There are different types of music and choirs at most of our services.  In addition, we have a weekly Rosary group...

St. Stephen's has always relied heavily on music as a means of enhancing worship by giving artistic voice to spiritual and liturgical intentions. Significant talent and resources from all parishioners are dedicated to presenting musical offerings in our liturgies that glorify God and inspire those gathered to greater and deeper faithfulness.

Stewardship

Stewardship is our response to God's gifts to us.  As a community, part of our opportunity as members is to offer ourselves and our money for the work of God. We do that by making commitments we call pledges.  Those pledges include our time and talent and our money.
