Sometimes parents just need spiritual nourishment without the responsibility of attending to their children.  While infants and toddlers are always welcome in our worship services, we know sometimes you may prefer to have a break for quiet and prayer.  Caring for our youngest communicants is an important ministry at St. Stephen's and so we offer the gifts of a skilled child caregiver.  Cara is here in the nursery every Sunday during worship.  Feel free to leave your child in the nursery or bring them with you.  Parents generally come to take their infants into church to receive communion when it is served or the young ones may remain with Cara.

More About Cara: Cara is the mother of a 22 year old, has been involved with research projects related to early education programs, and has completed several Child Development/Psychology classes.  In addition to volunteering in public schools as a tutor and leading after-school programs at Roberts Elementary School, she worked for several years in a Family/Pediatric medical office.   

Cara sincerely appreciates the opportunity to spend quality time with the very special young people in St. Stephens' Nursery on Sunday mornings.
